The CSCA Website

The year 2006 was the first full year of the website and
CSCA Members were not aware of its existence until
they received the Newsletter last Spring. There has been
a noticeable increase in numbers of site visits since the
Newsletter was published.

During 2006 the site was visited by 2,663 people who
looked at 36,016 items. For the first year this is an
encouraging start. However it’s importance will be
greatly enhanced if you can send me your e-mail
addresses and I will then be able to alert you every time
a new article is added. Those of you who support The
Stop Stansted Expansion campaign will know how they
send an e-mail every time they have something to report.

Whilst we have e-mail addresses for some 80 members
there must be a lot more of you that have e-mail and I
know that some of the addresses we have are out of
date, as I recently sent out an e-mail to all those with
e-mail addresses, alerting you to the latest position
on the Sluice Gates and about 10 came back as
“undeliverable”. This was the first time that I had
contacted Members “en-bloc” and judging by some of the
comments it seemed to be well received. If you did not
receive this e-mail then I do not have your e-mail
address. Could I therefore ask you to send me your e-mail
addresses to info@colnestour.org

Thank you!
